Welcome! This site is where I write about computers and open-source software. For me, the two are inseparable.

My journey with both began when my grandfather threw together a machine for me running Linux Mint 17.1 MATE edition. I’ll always have a soft spot for its Compiz effects.

I went from the pre-Proton struggle of gaming on Linux, to learning Bash and Vim, to desiring internet sovereignty and my own mail server. When configuring Postfix proved to be too involved, I started looking for something simpler. This led me to OpenSMTPD, and from there I got hooked on OpenBSD.

I might end up writing more than just about the computer stuff I use. I hope you enjoy my website!
